The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, is one of the strategic Ministries of Gombe State Government saddled with the responsibility of facilitating the development and deployment of Science, Technology and Innovation to enhance the pace of Socio-economic development of the state.
His Excellency, Alh. Inuwa Muhammad Yahaya changed the nomenclature of the Ministry to be the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. His Excellency also established Gombe State Information Development Agency (GITDA).
To create policy environment and institutional strength for promoting scientific research, innovation and capacity building to achieve sustainable practices and technologies that will reduce poverty amongst the people
To build science, innovation and technology competence in the 21st century through larger pool of human resources for integrating the existing technological infrastructures that will strengthen the institution towards effective governance.
